The Waikiki Hotel portion of the Ilikai Hotel will be closing its doors tomorrow July 9th, 2009. This closure will not effect any of the infrastructure that we rely on at the Ilikai Hotel. The maintenance, engineering, groundskeeping, security, parking, and pool are all contracted services controlled by the Association Of Apartment Owners (AOAO).
If you are currently booked with the Waikiki Hotel portion of the Ilikai, you can still find availability with Aloha Condos. Within easy strolling distance of the Ilikai Hotel and the Ilikai Marina is a neat little restaurant called the Shorebird. You cook your own food. You choose your meat, they bring it out (nice cuts of steak) and you grill it. They have all of the seasonings and a master chef to help you. And they have an amazing buffet with every side dish you could think of.
And it’s a beautiful stroll back up the boardwalk to work off your dinner
