“Hawaii hotel occupancy hits new low.” This was just reported in the Pacific Business News. Statewide hotel occupancy fell to 61.9 percent. This is the lowest occupancy level recorded since 1987. The good news is people are flocking to condos! Why not? A larger space, a place to make your meals and often, a better or as good of a location. Take a look at Nohonani 204. Another five star accommodation is The Whaler 661. Located in Kaanapali on the beach, this recently updated condo complex is fantastic. Located next to Whaler’s Village, it offers shopping next door, restaurants, snorkeling trips to Molakini, a beachfront location at a LOW price. What could be better.? Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a spacious condo at a much lower price.

Aloha Condos has many condos at the Hanalei Bay Resort. When staying with us at the resort make sure to visit the beautiful town of Hanalei during your stay. Park at one end a spend a few hours strolling through the quiet little town. Amazing mountain views and great little shops to see. Make sure and get a big shave ice and take a side trip down to the bay to splash in the water.
Within easy strolling distance of the Ilikai Hotel and the Ilikai Marina is a neat little restaurant called the Shorebird. You cook your own food. You choose your meat, they bring it out (nice cuts of steak) and you grill it. They have all of the seasonings and a master chef to help you. And they have an amazing buffet with every side dish you could think of.
And it’s a beautiful stroll back up the boardwalk to work off your dinner
