The world famous Ilikai Hotel in Honolulu has been in the news a lot lately. Many guests have contacted us asking what a closure would mean to their vacation.

If you booked your stay through the hotel directly you may need to contact them (808-949-3811)to make sure everything is ok. If you booked your vacation through Aloha Condos you’re fine. Our condos are all privately owned and therefore not subject to any closure at the Ilikai.

What we’ve found is that all the services used by our guests are either controlled by the Association Of Apartment Owners (AOAO), or outside contractors. These services include: security, maintenance, cleaning, groundskeeping, pool, elevators, etc.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact your reservationist, we will be happy to help.

Hello. I am looking for a rental (studio or 1BR) for two months Feb & March 2010 on Oahu. I am researching and will be back and forth to Manoa campus of U of H, but do not need to be near the University of Hawaii.
My ideal budget is within $4,000. I hope for a pool, quiet and lanai if it is a condo. What would be the nicest place for that amount?
    Thanks,
    Steve
