Roy’s Gets It Right!
January 25th, 2009 by Rocco
First, I must mention that I have visited Roy’s on all of the islands in the past. Second, I have NO affiliation with any restaurant in Maui. However, Roy’s is a five minute drive from Nohonani 204, so I loved the location (in a shopping center). The fillet mignon and their fresh fish entrées are fantastic. I find that I keep going back and I’m not sure if it is because I love the really casual ambiance (shorts are fine), but I think one of the main things that draws me to Roy’s is their “to die for chocolate soufflé.” If you are a chocolate lover, you have to try it! I’ve actually seen people come in and not get dinner, but just order the chocolate soufflé for dessert. It seems to be ok with Roys! So, if you are lulling around Nohonani 204 and decide after sipping a nice glass of wine on the gorgeous lanai overlooking the warm Pacific Ocean, that you want to share some really good food, call Roys for either dinner or just dessert. It’s really worth it, unless of course you are counting calories (which you shouldn’t be doing on vacation anyway)!
