Hanalei Bay Resort Happy Talk Lounge to Reopen

I’ve just received inside information that the Happy Talk Lounge at the Hanalei Bay Resort is scheduled to reopen next week on December 20, 2008. This is great news! Previously, the lounge was a great place to hang out. The views of Bali Hai are amazing, the covered outdoor bar is  surrounded by lush tropical foliage and ponds and the food and drinks were accompanied by great entertainment including jazz and Hawaiian hula. It will be nice to have a bar again at HBR. Let’s hope all goes as scheduled.

    Big Blue Tarps with the words “Closed Indefinately” have just gone up in front of the Happy Talk Lounge at the Hanalei Bay Resort.

    The new owners of the lounge – Celebrity Resorts – don’t seem to be too interested in opening the Happy Talk Lounge anytime soon.

    Too Bad!

    What is the status now, 6/09, for Happy Talk? Is it reopened yet? Thank you.

    The HTL re-opened on Saturday July 11.
