Rumor has it the the Happy Talk Lounge is going to close again, likely before February 2010.

    It’s official – the Happy Talk Lounge closed this past weekend on February 6th.

    Right now there are no plans for the Happy Talk Lounge or the Bali Hai Restaurant to reopen.

    I’ll update this post as new information comes along.

    So sad to hear this… my husband and I had our wedding reception at Happy Talk and will be returning this year for our anniversary. We were so looking forward to being able to spend it there. I am still talking about their coconut shrimp years later!

    Will be heading to Kauai early May, any word on the Happy Talk Lounge reopening? We LOVE Happy Talk. It was closed last year when we visited and was a huge disappointment. Mahalo for an update!

    Unfortunately both the Bali Hai Restaurant and Happy Talk Lounge at the Hanalei Bay Resort are both still closed – sorry.
