Popular Hawaiian Vacation Resorts

If you are looking to make your holidays feel a little less familiar, and a bit more faraway, looking toward any of the Hawaiian top 5 vacation resorts would be a tremendous place to start.
Hawaii is no longer for young couples still grinning from their I Do’s, or the older duos dwelling in their golden years. The islands have grown into a paradise for the entire family.
On many of Hawaii’s islands, family resorts have soared beyond the basics to attract families with a festival of fun. Amenities such as spacious rooms and water parks are standard, as are a wealth of activities designed to make the Aloha State a family destination.
Big Island Hawaii
The most popular of the eight islands is also the biggest. Known as the Big Island, this island never has a shortage of fun. The giant island has five volcanoes, all ripe for exploration, resting over miles and miles of beach.
Kauai
If your aim is to lose your breath to beauty, it would be hard to go wrong with Kauai. If you’ve ever watched a film with an amazing island backdrop, complete with mountains, waterfalls, and a shade of green that looks like a special effect, chances are good it was shot on this island. You can take tours of several movie locations, or get close to nature on the island’s wildlife refuge.
Oahu
The bustle of Honolulu, the history of Pearl Harbor, or the beauty of Waikiki Beach, Oahu is Hawaii’s busiest island. The pace makes it a lot of fun for children who are just as busy, or grown ups eager to surf the legendary waves on the island’s North Shore. Families can book a tour through pineapple fields at Dole Plantation, trek through gorgeous valleys, or watch world famous surfers as they tackle titanic waves.
Maui
Maui is most famous for its amazing variety of beaches, and regularly receives the highest score of any destination across the globe. If you make it to Maui for the holidays, then you might just see the state sea mammal – the humpback whale. Every year, from December until April, as many as 10,000 of the humpback whales migrate from Alaska to the warm waters outside Maui.
Kahoolawe
If you can slip your way unnoticed onto this island, make sure to send a postcard. Currently, only natives are allowed, but a scarcely inhabited Hawaiian island must surely take the breath away!
