Rent A Surfboard In Waikiki

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

When staying at any of our 10 plus condos at the Ilikai Hotel you can walk down to the beach and rent a surfboard, or a paddle board for a few hours. It’s pretty cheap ($30 or so) and two hours is plenty :)

Enjoy!

Ilikai Hotel Closure Does Not Effect Aloha Condos Guests

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

The Waikiki Hotel portion of the Ilikai Hotel will be closing its doors tomorrow July 9th, 2009. This closure will not effect any of the infrastructure that we rely on at the Ilikai Hotel. The maintenance, engineering, groundskeeping, security, parking, and pool are all contracted services controlled by the Association Of Apartment Owners (AOAO).

If you are currently booked with the Waikiki Hotel portion of the Ilikai, you can still find availability with Aloha Condos. Click this link to begin a search of available units at the Ilikai Hotel (adjust the arrival and departure as necessary). Feel free to contact us anytime to discuss availability and possible rentals.

[UPDATED]

___________________________________________

The world famous Ilikai Hotel in Honolulu has been in the news a lot lately. Many guests have contacted us asking what a closure would mean to their vacation.

If you booked your stay through the hotel directly you may need to contact them (808-949-3811)to make sure everything is ok. If you booked your vacation through Aloha Condos you’re fine. Our condos are all privately owned and therefore not subject to any closure at the Ilikai.

What we’ve found is that all the services used by our guests are either controlled by the Association Of Apartment Owners (AOAO), or outside contractors. These services include: security, maintenance, cleaning, groundskeeping, pool, elevators, etc.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact your reservationist, we will be happy to help.
