Best Snorkeling on the Big Island

The AAA has rated Kahalu’u Beach Park as having the best snorkeling on the Big Island.  It’s just a 10-minute walk from our Kona Townhouse at Na Hale O Keauhou.  The fish are incredibly tame, and the water is calm enough to feel safe at all times, and the water is usually clear and beautiful.  I was snorkeling there this morning and took these pictures:Raccoon Butterfly Fish at Kahalu'u Beach Park

The snorkeling is best out toward the breakwater where there are beautiful coral heads to enjoy as well.  Plenty of turtles, too!  Come enjoy the wonder of it all at our luxurious 2-bedroom townhouse!
