A Secret Beach for You

The Kona Coast of the Big Island has few beaches along its rocky coastline, but one is located behind the Bishop Estates’property on Alii (which in Hawaiian means Royalty) Drive.
On one end of the stretch of beach, just on the other side of a large heiau( an ancient Hawaiian temple) which is being restored is a hotel. At the other end is the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club Resort, an outstanding complex.
The end of the beach is bejeweled by a small palm fringed cove whose waves wash white across an expansive reef and lap kindly onto the white and black beach.
In front of # 2 lanai-your own path to the beach
A select number of two bedroom/two bath townhouses are located at this cove and one of these units is Townhome # 2 that is truly BEACHFRONT. It is only a few steps from the lanai to the beach! What a wonderful beach to explore the reef, find petroglyphs, go shelling or just watch the fish. In addition, it is a favorite spot for green sea turtles
and you will probably see one sunning along the shoreline catching a nap or perhaps from # 2 large tiled lanai or even from their floor-to ceiling windows in the bedroom upstairs. No worries about who the people might be upstairs as both downstairs and up are yours. Gaze at the waves or watch the spectacular moonsets and sunsets.

Both are truly magical from either vantage point. What a way to go to sleep or wake up!
